The Italian Genealogy and Heraldry Society of Canada is a non-profit charitable cultural and educational organization dedicated to the promotion, preservation and study of Italian genealogy and heraldry.
Our Society provides assistance to all persons interested in tracing their ancestry, locating missing relatives, finding the origin and meaning of Italian surnames, and locating an ancestor’s coats-of-arms. The IGHSC also provides immigration assistance and organizes Italian cultural events. Membership in the Society is $50 per year (Canadian) and covers basic services. Advanced research services may require an additional donation.
Our Society has general meetings and seminars on the second Wednesday of the month at the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. We meet in the room off the main members lounge at 7:00 p.m. Click here for map and directions.
