  1. Hey There,

I tried to email you at the email provided on the webpage ighsc-sgaic@sympatico.ca and it kept coming up invalid email address. I found another email, belonging to tsellan@kolcom.igs.net and I am hoping that it works. I can be reached at maryi617@yahoo.ca. My name is Mary Ianni and I am so eager to discover my family history. My Nona is Gina Ianni/Capone who had just recently passed and my Nono Carlo Ianni. There is much family in Italy and the states but I am having a bit of trouble . I would love to be able to have a story to tell about my family. My grandma survived World War 2 , she was born in 1927 her given surname is Capone. I met with her 1st cousin last week at the hospital while my Nona was ill and she mentioned a little about there family hard to understand but anyways Al Capone came up , somewhere down the line he is related she said one of our family members owned a restaurant in Italy that he had visited etc, etc, . We have family in the states currently who may know more. I hope to find out more and if anyone at your establishment could help me it would greatly be appreciated . I feel so proud to have known my Nona I always thought she was so wonderful. An amazing cook by far the best, I wish she left a recipe book it would be gold but she was so amazing there was no such thing in her kitchen. I sure miss her and my Nona and feel in my heart I need to know more about them and their lives growing up. My grandma came over to Canada off a ship but it sank or starting sinking something happened. I believe the name was something “Maria” i will get back on that. If anyone could assist me, tell me what i need to get to start, anything, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Thank you .

    Sincerly Mary Ianni maryi617@yahoo.ca
